Our volunteers are critical to the success of our Program.  We are not funded by any organization and depend on donations, grants and wonderful volunteers to share their talents and passion for helping others to keep THRIVE alive.   Please consider how you can help our THRIVE Community help families succeed.
Education is an important resource for all of us as a part of our Life Long Learning philosophy.  We offer the Getting Ahead Program Class which helps prepare families motivated to move out of the poverty cycle and is a pre-requisite for the THRIVE Community Program.  Check our class offerings below.

INTERESTED IN BECOMING A THRIVE ALLY?
Join us on a Tuesday at 5:45 or email Director@ThriveHelps.org to see when we are matching teams. We will train you and help to ensure your match to a Leader is a good fit for you. Help us change lives!
HOW DO I HELP MY FAMILY MOVE OUT OF POVERTY?
The first step is to come check us out! We serve dinner at 5:45, we always make enough for guests. You and your children will be able to meet the people at Thrive- you'll know quickly if we are the right fit for your journey. We will help you enroll in a Getting Ahead Class and Sarina and Marie will help connect you with the info you need.

WHAT OTHER VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES ARE AVAILABLE?
Kitchen Help: We prepare 60 meals each Tuesday and always look for volunteers to help prepare, serve and cleanup for our Teams.

Child Care:  Many of our families working hard to pull themselves out of poverty have children.  We provide child care each Tuesday evening while their parents attend the program.  If you have a love for children and would want to spend a couple of hours each Tuesday evening we would like to invite you to contact us.
Getting Ahead Classes
A New Getting Ahead Cohort will be starting soon. Contact Marie, our Director, to reserve your spot at Director@ThriveHelps.org
Textbooks are provided to each participant taking the class.  A meal is provided each week of class for participants and their children.  Child care is also provided free of charge during the class time.
